Terms of use
This is a draft and is being checked before Little Signals launches. Details in [square brackets] will be added.
These terms apply when you use the Little Signals app. Please read them before you send clips or buy a plan.
What Little Signals is
Little Signals helps parents understand the road to an autism assessment. You can send short clips of your child, and an occupational therapist writes back with what they observed and practical next steps.
Little Signals does not diagnose autism or any other condition, and our feedback is not a medical assessment. Only a qualified multidisciplinary team can make a diagnosis.
If you're worried about your child's health or safety right now, contact your GP, call NHS 111, or in an emergency call 999.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or over and the child's parent or legal guardian, or have their permission, to send clips of a child.
Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Plans and payments
Quick look (£29) and Full review (£49) are one-time payments for one review.
The Journey plan is £14.99 a month. The first 3 months (£44.97) are paid upfront when you join; after that it is paid monthly until you cancel. It includes one review per child each month, which does not roll over.
You can cancel the Journey plan at any time. If you subscribed through the App Store, cancel in your iPhone Settings; deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription.
Discount codes can be used once, on your first review only.
Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms.
Sending clips
Only send clips of children you are responsible for, filmed in a way that respects their dignity. Do not include other children without their parent's permission.
We aim to send feedback within 72 hours of receiving your clips. Occasionally it may take longer; we will let you know.
If a therapist sees something that suggests a child may be at risk of harm, we will follow our safeguarding policy, which may mean sharing information with the authorities.
Our responsibility
We take care to make sure our therapists are qualified and our information is accurate, but feedback is based only on what is visible in short clips. Please use it alongside advice from your GP and other professionals.
We are not responsible for decisions made by other services (such as waiting lists or referrals), but we'll always do our best to help you through them.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may close accounts that break these terms or put children at risk.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
